Individual Occupational Therapy Sessions
KiddOTherapist's use play to engage children and encourage participation while working on goals.
During therapy OTs will encourage your child to play, ask questions and problem solve. Play activities chosen keeping in mind the interest and motivation of the child. Variation in play introduced new skills and flexibility. are used varied to keep interest and to maintain attention. Through play, we can exercise multiple systems of the body.
Therapy may be focused on supporting development, meeting milestones, improving fine motor control, gross motor, postural control, rehabilitation, self-care tasks, play skills, school readiness, social skills and engagement.
Early Intervention and play based learning are offered on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
